Jim Ward and his wife Tricia are current homeowners in Greendale and have made it their home for the past seven years. Jim is also a member of Friends of the Greendale Public Library and has contributed towards Greendale’s 75th anniversary celebration and the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial.
After graduating from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Jim attended Marquette University. He graduated in 1999 with degrees in Education and History. He has been a History teacher for 13 years, twelve of them at a charter school at Milwaukee Academy of Science. During this time he has been a lead teacher, participated in statewide grants, helped lead the implementation of Character Counts, a character education program, in the high school and is a mentor teacher to beginning teachers.
Jim and Tricia own three dogs, one of them is blind and has been trained as a service dog. Jim is an avid sports fan who follows the Packers and shares season tickets. He also follows the Brewers, Marquette basketball, plays softball in New Berlin and enjoys home brewing beer.
