Representative John Steinbrink, a grain farmer and former dairy farmer, was first elected to the Assembly in 1996. He is married and has three children. Steinbrink has a long history of public service, serving as a member of the Pleasant Prairie Town and Village Board since 1985, including serving as President of the Village Board since 1995. He is also a member of the Kenosha County Farm Bureau, Danish Brotherhood, Senior Action Council, Wisconsin League of Municipalities, and Moose Lodge No. 286.
