As a community leader, I represent Registered Nurses on the Racine County Budget Committee. I work cooperatively with the County Executive and other County leaders to improve quality healthcare.
I have lived in the town of Spring Prairie most of my life, and am a graduate of Burlington High School. Raised in rural Walworth County, I have discovered the great outdoors through fishing, snowmobiling and exploring the woods of Paradise Valley.
I am the single parent of my son Cole, who attends middle school in Burlington. He is a repeat recipient of the Presidential Academic Achievement Award. The hard work, dedication and commitment teachers have for students, working together as a team with teachers, parents and community educate and create opportunities for all children, including my son.
I am member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Lyons, an alternate to the Parish Council. I has been a Catechist for the Religious Education Program since 2008 teaching children how to engage in lifelong spiritual growth. I volunteer regularly at Love, Inc.. Community Center in Burlington serving meals to local families coping with economic and emotional hardships.
Raised by strong, hardworking parents, I was taught to fight for what you believe in and reach out to those in need. I will stand for working families and job creation. She will promote healthcare and women's rights. I will fight for public education and students. I will stand for children and seniors. As Assembly Representative, I will be out in the community listening to the concerns of District 32, advocating for the best interests of the people, listening, and fighting for fairness and equality.
