Mary Czaja

I was born and raised in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.  I graduated from Tomahawk High School and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
In 1988, I purchased Behling Insurance, renamed the business to C.I.S. Insurance Group, and have owned my small business ever since.  I have offices in Tomahawk and Rhinelander.
I come from a family of independent business owners.  My father, Edward Behling, owned and operated Tomahawk Tree Farm and Behling Insurance. My grandmother, Dolly Roberts, and mother June Behling, operated the Bowling Alley Grill, and founded June’s Delicatessen in the Nokomis area. My uncles, Richard and Gerald Roberts, founded Roberts Berry Farm, now owned by my brother Tom and operating as the Tomahawk Berry Farm.
