My world is not politics. I am not a politician.
I’m a mother of five and new grandmother who cares deeply about the future we’ll leave for our children and grandchildren. I’m a nurse who understands and values health of mind, body and soul – of people and of community. I’m a proud citizen who strives to make the right decision, not just the easiest. I’m a volunteer who believes that we all have the power to make a difference.
That’s the biggest reason I am running for Wisconsin’s 47th Assembly District – to make a difference. I learned back in 2000, when my 6-year-old son Konrad was taken by cancer, that our time in this world is short and we should use it wisely. My campaign for Assembly is an opportunity to raise important issues that affect everyday people just like me who are struggling to do what’s right for themselves, their families and their communities. I include in that group business owners striving to stay afloat and trying to grow, providing jobs and motivation for our hard-working citizens. Family values, work ethic and entrepreneurship are building blocks that will again make this country great.
These ideas are important to me—the mother, grandmother, nurse, citizen, taxpayer and volunteer. If they are important to you, I ask for your support. Together, we can make a difference.
