Candidate Information

Candidate Biography

Wisconsin is my home by choice. In 1995, my husband and I moved to Milwaukee. We had planned to return to family and friends down south as soon as we finished our respective academic programs. Instead, the good people of this great state won our hearts. So we stayed, planted deep roots in Wauwatosa, and raised our two sons in this community. Staying in Wisconsin is one of the best decisions we have ever made.

I care deeply about Wisconsin. We have so much going for our state, but we can do better. Several demographic trends signal hard economic realities ahead for Wisconsin due to an aging workforce, receding working-age population, and declining birth rate. Additionally, Wisconsin’s infant mortality rate for African American babies is the highest in the nation. Add to that Milwaukee’s infamous designation as one of the nation’s most segregated cities, and we have room for vast improvement.

I am running for State Assembly because I want to be a part of the solution that fights to strengthen our great state. I am committed to conservative principles and to advancing these principles in a way that serves to unite and not divide us.
